👋 Hello 2,406 ATL Golfers,

Atlanta is technically a year-round golf city except for like 2.5 weeks, but we’re smack in the middle of those 2.5 weeks!

So in this edition of the newsletter we’ll dedicate some of the content to making the most of these colder months.

One unrelated change is that the Tournament schedule will be 2 months in advance for easier planning. For example, this month we’ll provide the schedule for February and March.

Speaking of… is it March yet?

We also reviewed 2 indoor simulators: Fore Seasons (Acworth), and Atlanta Golf & Social (Chamblee)

Highlights

1) Stone Mountain - Stonemont received my worst ever value rating

2) Fore Seasons provides a much needed option for Cobb County

3) College Park might be the best bang for your buck in Atlanta

Also, a sneak peak at what reviews are coming at you in February!

2 videos this month:

1) How to find your perfect grip
2) How to determine your optimal putting stance

This month’s sponsor is the Stewart Center and the
Atlanta Golf Classic Charity Tournament held at East Lake GC

The Stewart Center’s commitment to Atlanta, and specifically the Pittsburgh neighborhood, is one that should be celebrated. They create stability and opportunity by way of housing, childcare, education, food, wellness initiatives, and so much more.

Their premier fundraiser is the Atlanta Golf Classic at East Lake GC, March 23rd. Most of the player spots are taken via corporate sponsorships, HOWEVER, there are a very limited number of individual player spots still available.

These are NOT advertised and can only be reserved by calling
Drew Williamson at 706-594-5891

Questions on the corporate sponsorship program can also be directed at Drew.

Please let me know if you sign up because of this promotion.
Would be great to know ATL Golfs made a difference! 🙂

  • Unfortunately, I have to postpone the high school fundraiser. Couldn’t get everything organized in time, and if I’m going to do something I’m going to do it right. Learned some lessons and have already started working on a 2027 fundraising campaign plan.

  • Working on a potential ATL Golfs weekend golf trip in the fall. Subscribers will get first dibs.

  • Just secured a partnership with First Tee - Metro Atlanta. Really excited to create some content with them.

  • We’ve brought on 3 awesome guys to help with our course review load. Pumped to have more reviews and more up-to-date reviews.

  • Meeting with Mizuno this month for a really cool content series that I think y’all will really enjoy. Make sure you’re following on socials @atl.golfs

News and rumors from around Atlanta Golf

Thanks for reading the newsletter!

I know I always pack a ton of info, but I hope it’s something you are able to come back to throughout the month. And if you can’t find the email, you can always find the newsletters at newsletter.atlgolfs.com. TBH - I prefer the online experience over the email anyways.

As always, suggestions are welcomed!

Spring is just 6 weeks away! Stay strong!
